Kitchen remodel & other items

A couple in Austin wanted to remodel their house to update it and to increase usability and modernize it. The contractor reached out to me to build all of their kitchen cabinets and replace the doors and drawer faces to match the new style. This was a whole-house remodel, and I was happy to be a small part of it. The customer had very specific ideas on what they wanted, and that made the discovery part easy. They wanted the majority of the kitchen cabinets to be painted and the Island to be stained maple. They also wanted a display cabinet with glass door in the upper corner unit and a lazy susan in the bottom corner cabinet. All base cabinets featured pull-out, full extension shelving, and the drawers were constructed from 1/2″ Baltic birch for strength and durability. The contractor took care of all painting and staining as part of the overall remodel. I also was asked to build a dry bar in the living area. This was 10-feet high and 9-feet wide, with an accompanying bookcase to the left. Other activities included replacing all doors/drawer faces in the Owners bathroom and linen closet, bookcase cabinet doors in the living area as well as an access panel for accessing the upstairs AC unit.
