I was asked to create some shelves and storage for a nursery. I built these from 1/2″ Baltic Birch plywood, as it is very solid and has very consistent and appealing layers that look nice on the edge profile. There are 2 of the “toy storage” shelves and 1 bookshelf. These were finished with a few coats of Watco natural Danish Oil to beautify, seal protect the wood.
