This customer does a lot of sewing and quilting and she needed something very specific for her craft room that would enable her to be more efficient and effective. The idea was to have the sewing desk that would have fold-out leaves to support the weight and bulk for the material while she sewed, but that could be collapsed when not needed. She also wanted the bed of her machine to be flush with the main surface, but adjustable in case she got different model one day. She wanted the stain to match her other cabinets in the room, so we went with a Golden Oak stain. The project was constructed of Maple cabinet plywood.
